Spiritual Direction with Marie Thompson

Spiritual direction is an opportunity to learn to trace the movement of God in our lives and to help us make positive life choices and decisions. It involves meeting regularly with a trained spiritual director.

Counselling with Margaret Skehan pbvm

Counselling can help people to cope with the demands of peer and family relationships, parenting issues, and personal and emotional challenges, including grief, loss and depression.

Spirituality for Everyday Living

An opportunity to come along to a home retreat, where we
gather once a week for six weeks to share faith and insights,
read the Scriptures that come alive for us and that relate to our

Walking a Sacred Labyrinth - A Journey to Nurture Spiritual Growth guided by Rosemary Grundy pbvm

Divinity is like a wheel, a circle, a whole. (Hildegard of Bingen)
This day's journey is an opportunity to explore meditation and prayer through following a walkway through a Labyrinth. This medieval practice is being used to assist today's pilgrims to adopt a new mindfulness, engaging body, mind and spirit, and to respond to the invitation of our loving God - Come walk with me.

Gifts from the Sea
guided by Penny Carroll and Gwen Winterscheidt

If you are a grandmother, mother, married or single, divorced, separated or widowed, this retreat is available for you.
Anthony de Mello writes: "Wonder at the mysteries that the sea keeps within it. So many forms of life manifest themselves in the ocean depths." This retreat will explore the many riches contained within us, and gives us the opportunity to encounter Jesus in the midst of our daily life. Gifts from the Sea is a day for women to come to the Bay and take time out for themselves to nurture their spirit through meditation, massage and reflection.

From Darkness to Light - Holy Week Retreat
Guided Retreat with Monica Brown and Hilary Musgrave

This guided retreat will offer a reflective space and a prayerful creative environment to prepare for and celebrate the Easter Triduum. As well as special liturgies for the Triduum, the retreat will offer a session each day of guided spiritual reflection using music, imagery, sacred clowning and ritual to reflect on Jesus' passion and its relevance for us. There will also be other optional sessions on various days throughout the retreat.

Meditations to Transform the Mind and Open the Hearth

These morning meditations will offer techniques to enhance wholesome states of mind as a basis to increase one's love and compassion. The meditations can be applied within any religious/spiritual tradition.

Parable and Parabler, Habitat and Humanity - A New Story Speaks to the Old
— Scripture Workshop facilitated by Elaine Wainwright rsm

This workshop offers an opportunity to explore ways in which the new story of the Universe with its images and metaphors, together with our growing knowledge of our planet Earth, provides a lens for reading the gospel story anew. Explore ways of reading, enter old stories from a new perspective.

Compassionate Communication

This workshop will present simple methods to be able to engage in communication in a more open-hearted and compassionate manner. It will be based on Dr Michael Rosenburg's model of non-violent communication (NVC).

Jesus' Call to a New Consciousness - "You were made for something enormous! Open your eyes and see it!"

During this retreat we will explore Jesus' invitation to see beyond the parameters of meaning we have set for ourselves - an invitation to expansion of our vision, to change our way of seeing. Focusing on the events of Holy Thursday this retreat will draw us into Jesus' call to friendship, intimacy and deep relationship with our God and with each other. This retreat will include input, morning and evening prayer, and spiritual direction on request.

Fan the Flame: An Opportunity for Personal Renewal

Fan the Flame is a unique opportunity for personal renewal and professional development. The program suits pastoral associates, members of leadership teams, chaplains, campus ministers, teachers, others engaged in ministry and anyone wishing to renew and deepen their faith.

Soup, Salad and Bread for the Journey: Even Scribble can be Enough
Twilight Retreat guided by Kerry Holland

Come and make some time to converse with God who delights in you, using simple art materials. To converse is a way of loving. St Ignatius approached prayer and ministry as conversation: the kind of comfortable satisfying conversation whereby we truly get to know someone else. We all have a visual language that is more direct than words and even scribbling can be helpful with prayer. (Art materials are provided and no artistic experience is needed.)

Healing Life’s Hurts
